Katherine Richardson

Katherine Richardson is a professor in biological oceanography. Her main interests are the studies of the factors influencing the flow of energy and material in marine ecosystems.
She has had many climate-related positions of trust, the latest of them including the chairmanships in the steering committee for the scientific part of the Copenhagen Climate Change Congress and in the European Research Council evaluation panel for the ERC Starting Grants. As a result of the previous, a team of specialists on climate change, including Katherine Richardson, wrote a synthesis report on climate change.
